Bank guarantees

The Bank Guarantees module is part of the internal company portal that we designed, developed and deployed for a client from the finance and accounting field. The portal consolidates dozens of corporate agendas into one environment with unified login, roles and auditable history — and the Bank Guarantee module is a key part of it.

Bank guarantees were recorded in tables for several people. There was no central register, providers' limits were not monitored, and the expiration of guarantees was only discovered if someone remembered it. This represented a real financial and legal risk for a company with contracts worth millions of euros.

Central register of bank guarantees with provider limits, validity dates and links to projects and tenders. The system warns before the warranty expires sufficiently in advance so that the client can take the necessary steps. Overview of active vs. of expired guarantees is available to the management at any time.

We designed the module with future development in mind — the modular architecture allows adding new fields, reports or integrations without interfering with the existing core. Clean code, documentation, and separate configuration files ensure that the system can be developed by another team — without depending on one person who knows "how it works."
