Mail

The Mail module is part of an internal company portal that we designed, developed and implemented for a client from the property, logistics and operations area. The portal consolidates dozens of corporate agendas into one environment with unified login, roles and auditable history — and the Mail module is a key part of it.

Post records were kept in a paper book. Data sheets for couriers were filled in manually, there was no data import from delivery systems, and reports had to be drawn up manually.

The postal records module digitized the entire process of incoming and outgoing correspondence.

Records and ties: the shipment is created with attachments and the partner, project and notified persons are assigned. Addresses and contacts are taken from the directory.

Processing and Statuses: A shipment moves through the statuses through history — created, processing, equipped, delivery sheet, shipped, delivered — including comments and edits.

Submission and export: the system prepares a submission sheet and export for the carrier (XML or CSV). After importing the statuses and the tracking link, you can see where the shipment is.

A day in the life: the administration registers incoming mail for the project, prepares the initial shipments, exports the input sheet, and after importing the tracking, sees the status of the shipment.

We designed the module with future development in mind — the modular architecture allows adding new fields, reports or integrations without interfering with the existing core. Clean code, documentation, and separate configuration files ensure that the system can be developed by another team — without depending on one person who knows "how it works."
